Kohnke's Own BCS provides a wide range of organic trace-minerals, vitamins, and amino acids involved in the maintenance of collagen and elastic tissues subjected to overstretching and fatigue in exercising horses.

Provides a source of supplementary nutrients that may be low or inadequate in the grain and hay based diets of horses necessary to maintain optimum strength, flexibility and resilience of collagen tissue in the lungs, tendons, and ligaments of racing and performance horses.

  • provides a wide range of organic trace minerals, vitamins and amino acids involved in the maintenance of collagen and elastic tissues subjected to overstretching and fatigue in exercising horses
  • recommened to supplement the diets of gallopers, harness horses, polo horses, eventers, show jumpers, endurance and dressage horses in full training where collagen tissues are subjected to heavy loading tha repeated stretching forces.
  • Highly palatable and dust free – sticks to the feed to avoid sift-out and waste.

BCS contains a blend of nutrients , including organis trace minerals, organic silicon, and natural bioflavonoid compounds, which have a role in maintaining the health, resillience and elasticity of collagen fibres in the lung airways, blood vessels, tendons and joint surfaces.

BCS also has a role in the nutritional support of collagen fibres which provide the functiona; elasticity of the lug air sacs. blood vessels and interstital tissue within the lungs as a co-factor supplementing cases of EIPH (Exercise Induced Pulmonary Haemorrhage) or Lung bleeding in race horses.

Also contains synergistic co-factors for collagen repair and maintenance

Although BCS does contain Glucosamine, it is not in the right concentration required for optimal joint health and function.  A separate joint supplement needs to be used for this purpose
