Heritage Downs Cleansing Shampoo Bars contain a blend of natural plant oils, essential oils, and clays to provide a deep cleanse without stripping the horses' natural coat oils.

Ideal for dry, itchy and flaky skin, coconut oil and neem oil help to soothe & nourish.

Perfect for white horses with the cleansing properties of coconut oil & essential oils to lift the stubborn dirt and bring out the whiteness of their manes, tails and coats.

Tea tree & neem oil contain antifungal and antibacterial properties which aid with skin conditions such as rain scald, itch etc. plus insect bites. These oils are also used extensively for their insect repellent properties.

The difference between shampoo bars and cold process soap is in the proportions of the base oils and butters, with more oils added to shampoo bars and more fats (butters) in soap formulations.

Another benefit of course is fewer shampoo bottles mean less plastic waste, and better for the environment.

Directions for use:

Wet your horses coat thoroughly and also wet the Cleansing Bar. 

Holding the bar, massage into your horses' coat, mane & tail. It will lather up quickly.

Get deep into the base of the tail and mane and extra attention to any stains. 

Rinse well, until the water runs clear. Dry off with an equine squeegee or drying towel.
