Mullein Leaves act as a mild laxative, painkiller and sleep agent.  When taken internally it aids in getting rid of warts and clears congestion.  It is generally used in treating asthma, bronchitis, difficulty breathing, hayfever, earache and swollen glands.  It can also be used in conjuction with other herbs to sooth kidney inflammation.

Catherine Bird, in her book A Healthy Horse the Natural Way, recommends 1 Cup of the dried plant  steepd in 4-5 cups of hot water added to your horses feed 2 time daily depending on the severity of the symptoms.
